About Karen Tyndall

Karen is a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience. She uses a client-centered approach to therapy which is integrative and empirically based. Her therapeutic approach is formulated on the unique needs of each client.

Karen assesses each person on their individual situation and draws on the most clinically appropriate tools to meet that particular person’s needs. Her approach includes CBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy, Positive Psychology as well as Yoga Therapy, which is a complementary system, utilizing the tools of Classical Yoga to achieve therapeutic benefit for mind and body.

She works with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and phobias, panic disorder, depression, PTSD, work stress, adjustment disorder, sexual abuse, alcohol and drug abuse, relationship issues, anger management, ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, personal growth, and spirituality. Karen is a fully registered clinical psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society
